In any case, the ultimate deadline to get it done is September 1st, when our main football team (UAB) has its first season game, which will be on ESPN. So I definitely want to switch to that, although I've got a little time to figure out the logistics, because I just got a free month of Disney+ via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Considering I usually go for ESPN+ during football season anyway, and Disney+ includes a lot of content that interests me, that's a much better value proposition, even at $15 over the $10 I currently pay. Now, Disney has changed the Plus Bundle to include ad-free Hulu. And I don't use Hulu a ton because the ads are unbearable to me, but my wife has gotten into a lot of content there, so I can't just cancel. This support page I found seems intentionally vague on the topic so I think they just don't advertise it.Īnyway, I would just cancel Spotify because I don't use it much and I have a massive digitized CD/vinyl collection and still buy albums I really care about and use Pandora for discovery. I didn't think that was possible but it definitely is what happened for me. Anyway, because I couldn't prove I'm still enrolled (I am, community college is flexile), Spotify increased my rate to $10 but left Hulu bundled. It was a student account but I can't authenticate anymore because I've skipped a couple of semesters due to life events (adult full-time worker / part-time student, lost home to tornado). I've got a Spotify plan with Hulu bundled in (with ads). Sorry if that troubles anyone, but I'm hoping someone can help me out. I'm sure this has been asked and answered, but I can't find the answer.
